Default major fuel issues, need help asap!

so the eaiest way for me to explain this is to show you this: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=...type=2&theater
and basically if you cant hear whats going on, whenever i try to give it more than 1/4 amount of throttle it just bogs, and its impossible to drive anywhere because it doesnt accelerate unless u have it past 2500 RPMs so i have to put it in first gear and floor it and its really killing my fuel mileage. what i didnt to make this happen was i dropped the tank to replace and fix some stuff, and when i put it back in i was having this issue, its almost as if the fuel pump is barely working!
major strikes against me:
- i painted the tank while it was out
- i didnt replace the little filter on the end of the fuel pump but im almost positive that i didnt get it dirty.

idk if its the fuel pump, injectors, or whatever else. i dont think its the fuel filter because i drained it out and it didnt do anything. im at a lose and i need some serious help here!

"what i didnt to make this happen was... " If I follow you right you did something while working on the tank to cause a problem. Maybe you should go over it again, make sure everything is in the right place and hooked up right, every wire, every hose, back like it was.

You could have knocked some sediment loose and it made it up to the fuel rail, take it off and clean it.

Good luck, and on wahoo's point, I'd wonder if loose crud wouldn't end up in the regulator.

It's right there at the end of the rail, smallish diaphragm housing with a vacuum line to it. I'd start with checking at the tank though.
