Sugar in tank means:
1 either replace or have tank cleaned
2 replace or clean out all fuel lines
3 replace all filters
4 check and replace injectors & fuel pump if needed
5 pull spark plug & check it for being gummed up because if any sugar made it in to the cylinders it can caramelize from the heat.
Do you know what type of sugar? Regular, bakers, powdered? As the particles get smaller the contamination gets further down the system.
