Chrysler 8.25 with LSD, just filled with Valvoline 80W-90 new gear oil but has no additive in it, as far as I know. Since LSD, it will need an additive but the shops here (Aus) dont sell this seperately.
I know the recommendation is 75W-90 or 75 w-140 (for trailer towing) in the LSD , the 75W-140 has the additive in it already I believe, but I do not do any towing.
They sell the Lucas oil here, for both engine and transmission: can I use this in the LS diff as the 'additive' ?(it states its good for transfer case too)
Thanks for your input!
