lower tie rod end help!!!!!

Default lower tie rod end help!!!!!

how do I tighten the nut on the bottom/end of the tie-rod-end, without spinning the whole ball joint? Seem to have striped a bolt already. someone help. Or if anyone lives around the Glen burnie MD side that could possibly help

Make sure it's not cross-threaded. Try putting a jack under the bottom and lifting it a little to put pressure on the tapered sleeve. I've done this in the past with success. Your TRE is probably getting ready to need a replacement. IMO

Yeah i have seen a couple other posts telling me to use the jack w/o the tire on???

You can place a jack-stand under the axle, or the frame rail behind the wheel-well. Then place the jack under the TRE to lift it slightly to stop it from spinning inside. If on yours the nut is on the bottom, you'll have to use a pry bar to pull down on the TRE while you tighten the nut, to achieve the same results. I can't remember how the Jeeps is set-up.

Thanks i fixed the problem. Now its all in the matter of fixing my wheels from turning slightly in while driving.

Glad you've fixed it. There's more ways than throwing new parts at it sometimes. Adjust the toe-in your self or get an alignment. JMO
