Default Low power, doesn't run like it should.

I have a 2000 Cherokee classic, 4.0L coil pack, auto, 112k miles. The jeep doesn't run the best, Its not completely powerless but it just doesn't have the power the my old 98 had or any of my buddies pre-coilpack motors. I've never driven another coilpack motor jeep but it shouldn't be this bad. the jeep only has 112k miles but the people I bought it from didn't seem really big into maintenance. I've changed the spark plugs, air filter, changed the oil and filter.
Could the coilpacks be old and weak, or one could be weak? maybe dirty injectors, a plugged up catalytic conv. Has anyone else had this problem?
Im gonna buy some lucas injector cleaner and put a flowmaster super44 muffler on it. maybe hollow out the cat and move the front o2 sensor into an individual manifold tube.

Just my opinion but fuel injector cleaner gets two thumbs down from me. Do a Seafoam treatment!

I had this same problem with my jeep, but my is a 99. I would suggest you check your tranny fluid and see what color it is and the smell. My jeep is lifted and I have big tires and I would punch it and it wouldn't move till it reach high rpms. After 600$ later I find out that I need a new tranny. Also see if you can shift it from 1-2 to 3 to 4 if so then you might be able to rule out your tranny. Hope this advice helps
