Low gears help clutch?
#4
Do you hear banjos?
It would help if we knew your tire size, and what not, so we know what you are trying to accomplish...
If you have stock gearing, stock tire size, then you shouldn't have to slip the clutch too much to take off. If you are, then you have a power issue. Even a 2.5 should at least be able to get out of it's own way....tell us more...

You already have 4.10's, maybe 4.88's with that 4 banger. Or switch over to a 4.0 and you would probly be fine. Gears and motor swap probably cost close to the same.

Mathematically 4.88s with 33s would be equivalent to stock mechanical leverage. Technically, u have lost almost 20% leverage wise with the 33s so my guess is u must slip the clutch about 20% more.
