loud tapping and high oil press

loud tapping and high oil press
2000 xj 4.0 157k. last week my oil pressure been dropping big time to almost zero at a red light but when driving it was ok. now i have a really really loud tapping coming from inside the oil pan it sounds like. oil pressure reads really high. almost hit 80 if i hit the gas in park. oil level is level. any ideas?
