lost all gauges after extreme mudding
i did some extreme mudding/swimming getting out of my hunting area Saturday afternoon and when i got on dry land and took stock of the damage, i had no gauges, speedo or tach. looked at about 1000 threads on the subject and think it maybe got water onto the fire wall and shorted out something. any ideas? the instrument lights work and the radio works. 92 xj, 4.0 sport

When I bought my Cherokee there was some issue with the cluster plug and it would wiggle in and out and the gauges would come and go. Also, have to checked all of the related fuses?

haven't done anything yet except wash the mud off and try to let it dry out, but the weather is cold here and damp so it may take awhile. i'll start with the relays and fuses then work my way to the cluster. thanks.

finally got to look at the jeep and it was a blown gauge fuse. easy fix if nothing else goes wrong, thanks for the reply.
