Mine acted about the same way but mostly from a stop and making a turn, didn't really notice it at speed but my fuel pump also went out a couple days ago. Getting ready to replace it along with the filter here in the next couple days.

Good to know!! I actually just did my 3rd fill up today, since owning the jeep. I was running it down to E each time just to see how many miles per tank it could reach and when 'too low' was.
I noticed the same power loss since the first tank. Since it happened when i was at about 1/4 tank i didn't think twice about it and hoped for the best. By the 2nd tank i noticed it would happen when i was really pushing it in left hand turns only. I guess the fuel pickup is on the left side of the tank?
On this third tank i verified it for sure as it would hesitate before i filled up, then with the full tank i could throw it around anywhere with out any problems.
i'll be keeping it above 1/4 from now on. With gas here at @ $1.10 for regular, no reason not to. =D

My 99 2 wheel drive does this under Hard acceleration on Left hand turns only, no matter what the fuel level. I have a feeling it has somethin to do with the fuel shutoff(in case the vehicle flips over), but Im not sure either. Im interested to find out also.
