loss of acceleration power
I have a 1999 jeep cherokee. Just recently it has started to loose acceleration power after I have driven it for a little while and/or when it is heated up. The engine still seams to rev normal but the jeep hardly moves. Also, it only does this in drive and in 3rd, but not in low gear(12) or in reverse. It is not low on transmission fluid but does this sound like maybe the transmission fluid and filter need to be changed or something worse? Thanks

Not something I know much about. Cause of all the electric stuff maybe you want to search & check on stuff about refreshing and checking grounds to start. Allot easier than pulling the pan and changing fluid and filter. There's trany wires everywhere, and a fuse at the TCU on my 90. You might just look at the wires down on the trans, see if something looks ripped off or broken.

That does sound like the easier and smarter thing to check first, DFlintstone. I will take a look at those wires and see what they look like this weekend. Thanks for the advice and I will let ya know how that goes.
