I found mine was slathered in anti-seize and everything came apart with minimum effort - which is rare for a Jeep living in a rust area. I even had the hub off after a few whacks with a hammer and a decent cold chisel.
So I bought a tub of copper slip myself and made sure it had just as much anti-seize on after I'd finished!

If you don't have a 1/2" and a 3/8" inch bar already, now is a good time to buy them. According to the laws of Man Maths, any money spent on tools is an investment

Also, clean off the far ends of the three hub bolts with a wire brush or WD40 and a rag before you undo them, nothing good will happen if you drag all that crud through the threads.

Nice!!!!!

Glad to hear you got it done and that we all were helpful in solving the problem. I may be biased but I truly believe this forum (hence it's members) is better than average at offering advice that's worth more than you payed for.

Also the follow-up is very much appreciated, so thank you sir!

While you've still got the tools out, it would be a good idea to do the other side also. Provided you haven't already.
