Loose part??

Default Loose part??

I just bought it and i noticed when i pulled this piece it came right out with NO resistance whatsoever. Is it supposed to be snug? First jeep i ever owned so u guys are gonna see me often lol. Thanks

Should be a short piece of hose connecting those two together. Unless it seals good you'll have a vacuum leak.

This is a set with both ends of that plastic tube. The smaller piece is the one you're missing.

You should be able to find those at the parts store. Look for the HELP packaging, or for a display of assorted vacuum lines/hoses, etc. If you are in a pinch, use a ziptie to snug it down. Just be careful with plastic fittings as they dry out and brittle with age. With that said, check all your vacuum lines and hoses, as well as any rubber caps, unions, etc. Replace as needed. And yes, they should fit snug. A loose fit makes a poor seal.
