I have spark and fuel and fuel pressure. I had wired in a voltage regulator so my chexk engine light will be on forever. I have spark when i take a spark plug off the part where u screw them in and i grounded them and they have spark. I undid the little bike tire looking cap and pushed down and had fuel squirt out. I have fuel pressure. My distributor rotor turns so my timing chain is ok. THINGS IVE REPLACED: the cps, spark plugs, distributor cap distributor wires. I have spark at the coil and solenoid. And it just keeps cranking and i tested the codes and got: 12 disconnected the battery lately, 41 Alternator field control circuit open or shorted, and 55 End of codes. I have swapped batteries and used fully charged batteries and stilllll no start. All my wires, relays, and fuses check out and still no start so i took the alternator out to go test it. WHAT THE HELLLL?!!?!?!?! did my jeep just........

I had this happen to mine twice and both times were something stupid.
The first time we had no fuel, thought the fuel pump was toast, come to find a wire under side that got cut by a branch, fixed it and ran perfect.
The second time was good everything. Come to find out there was a wire going to the Distributer that was disconnected.

Um... that stuf wont make a engine run... Listen... very simple.. take the boot off the TB pour gas in a soda CAP the CAP just fill cap up... pour in and crank.. if it fires up for a second.. then you have fuel problem.. check filter..if its ok then pump

Just because you got a little dribble of gas when you push the schrader valve in does not mean you have the required fuel pressure for your engine to run. You need a fuel pressure gauge to know what the actual fuel pressure is.
