Not enough info. Price, maintenance history . Paint looks weak . Was it hit before. ? One owner is nice mileage sounds great.Interior condition does everything work ?
Looks like it was repainted (badly) why does the hood look so bad? Engine bay is a different color...strange. Rust at the top of the windshield was a $600 repair on my XJ. I wonder what happened to this XJ. I would be nervous about buying it untill I knew it's history.

Well, first I see a jump pack which means the battery is dead, hasn't been driven in a while (could be years, hence the low mileage). And if it has sat for years then the mileage might not be as good as you think. You would need to consider all the gaskets and seals that are probably dry rotted. Most likely will need new tires. Drain out the gas and clean the tank. But before any of that...
Is it early '99 with the 0630 head or the later multi-coil 0331 head? If it's the early design I'd say $1500-$2000, if it's the later design I'd say $1000 tops, as long as it's 4 wheel drive.

Was last driven last year, passed inspection in Jan 2010.
Manufactured 7/98, therefore old head.
1 owner. Was repainted, not sure why.
Interior is excellent. Battery was dead, because someone left the lights on. Looking at new tires, Drivers window motor, and hatch supports. Actully drove the Cherokee when pictures were taken.

I feel if you know whats wrong with it & can buy it fix it & get it on road for 2500 or under it is not that bad for a great running xj with low miles. Then only cosmetics which are not cheap but not a necesaary evil & can be done at a reasonable rate with a little do it your self & a cheaper paint service.
