Check out the tech section on here, I read through alot of it and there are some really good ideas that are realitively inexpensive. Thanks to all who have contributed there !!!

You can adjust the throttle kick down cable thing to make sure it's shifting smoothly. It's free. Google it. Then find neon injectors in the junk yard for cheap.

Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance, and more Maintenance !

Replace the Plug's, Wire's, Distributor cap, rotor button, Air filter, O2 sensors, Electric Fan Conversion, Change oil use Synthetic Oil, Change Trans Fluid use Synthetic , Change Diff Fluid use Synthetic, Change T case fluid with a Synthetic. When your done that add a Header, 2.5" hiflow cat and catback, 4hole injectors, Bored out Throttle body, Cold Air intake .................

Or just be easy on the gas or get a honda !

Just about the only thing that is cheap or free is a granny foot on the accelarator. Dont replace your injectors with clogged gummed up garbage.

No wires. No cap. Only a nice clean xj.

Remove the lift and return to stock tires lol. Looks awesome but Jeeps are NOT fuel efficient. Tom95YJ's suggestions are a good place to start.

Idk if this applies to newer XJs but I've done this to both of my jeeps and the one with high flow exhaust got a pretty good boost overall. I can't really attest to fuel economy gains cause I drove it like I stole it

But maintain a good alignment and keep your tires balanced

Alternator splash guard is a cheap mod. I just used some heat shield and some extra bolts

I just redid my headliner for under $50. You could do it cheaper if you have fabric though

I hope you didn't pay 6K for that thing.

I have a lot of that camo fabric in bulk. My headliner has been bugging me for close to a year. Thanks.
