I get in my 93 sport 4.0 and turn it over and it takes like 8 seconds while giving it alot of gas to start it. when i get it started it will try to die. if i push the gas to fast it will cut out. it sat for a year and might have a little bad gas, could this be the prob??

 

disconnect the coolant temp sensor and jump the two pins inside try starting again if it starts and idles needs a ect sensor
