Default long term storage?

Hey guys, I am storing my jeep for a year and a half or more, I plan on flushing and replacing coolant and oil, and put fogging oil in the cylinders. I am storing it outside and putting a cover over it and parking it on a couple slabs of wood under the tires, and I was going to wax it maybe before I park it just to protect the paint. Other than that can anyone tell me what else I should be doing? I am really lost when it comes to this and I want my Jeep to be perfect when I get home.

Thanks anyone for any input, I have a whole week to do maintenance or anything I need to, and I thought I'd throw a post up here to make sure I'm not missing anything or see if you guys have better ideas

Why not let someone use it? Parked outside under a tarp doesn't sound good at all, any number of things could happen.

X2 whatever its under should be breathable. Canvas would work okay. I'd put it on blocks or stands, no sense in stressing the tires. Plug ze exhaust and intake. Remove battery. I'd also be prepared to replace things like the belt and anything rodents chew.

X2 on the put it on blocks or stands and removing the battery. Also you might want to remove all the fuel from the system and the gas tank or in a year the fuel will go bad and mess up you fuel system. As someone suggested why not let someone drive it once in a while just to keep everything moving cars don't like to be stored for long periods of time, seals go bad and things tend to deteriorate.
Good Luck

even if you put it on blocks and such, Have somebody start it up every month or so. This'll keep the flids moving around and such.

TRY and have fun where your going!
