Ok ill try to make this as short as possible my 99 xj number one since this jeep pretty much had rusty coolant that was as thick as honey fixed now but before it had no heat so i blew the heater core out until nothing else came out but i noticed it was hard to force water into it like i put the hose on full blast through the heater core and it was barley coming out the other hose i atleast have heat but not hot like it should it feels like the first red dot on the temp control can someone help me to get my heat back. number two the blower didnt work ik it was the blower motor resistor but my uncle thought it was broke so he hardwired it and god knows how but now i have to turn it off manually or itll still run when the jeep is off plus the third speed doesnt work i want it to work normally again and turn off with the key and the third speed working again any info will be greatly appreciated. number three how can i wire up the electric fan to a switch that i can control do i have to put a fusible link on it or what because the fuse keeps blowing like clockwork every 2 months so im hardwiring it plus i live in forida and it gets hot and i dont like the temp it kicks on at so i want to control it and suggestions on how to wire it plus looking forward to getting a 3 core metal radiator because this stock radiator keeps cracking on the tanks. any advice would be helpful sorry for the long story.

Sounds like you heater core is plugged. Try this. Leave the hoses on the heater core and disconnect the from the engine side. Fill the heater core with radiator cleaner and let it sit. Then try to flush it again. You may have to do this several times to get all of the crud out.

I used CLR in mine when I first got it a few months ago. Worked great for me. Maybe check out this vid. Its the technique I used.
