hi everyone, Ive had to prime my jeep twice for it to start right away. I read that if i changed the fuel rail it would fix it. I also put upgraded injectors since I had the rail off. What else could be done? My jeep is a 2000 Jeep XJ Sport 4wd

With my '00 I am almost positive it is the check valve on top of the fuel pump. Do a fuel pressure test. Both running and not. See how the pressure drops when not running. You can buy the check valve separately but it is on top of the fuel pump. Spending the money for that and and still having to drop the tank doesn't make sense if your pump is up to spec when running. If you were to go to all that trouble might as well just replace the whole pump. People say they have gone years priming it just like you said you have to do.
