I was recently born into the jeep world, and have been on forums non stop. I seen a lot of talk about lockers. What exactly do they do??

 

they make both of your tires sping they lock they rears instead of having spider gears they replace them. A 4x4 only has one tire in the front and one in the rear spinning. If you lock the rear then its 3 wheel drive in 4x4 if you lock both your axls then its true 4x4 i welded my rear spiders and gusset them. nut i don't drive on the street

what kind of lift are you doing? btw if you have the chryco 8.25 i would invest in some hd shaft if you lock ur rear. What kind of wheeling do you do?
