i have auto lockers front and back, and sometimes I wish i went with a air locker in the front, just so i can use the 4wd in the winter..... but I do not regret the lockers, they work great and it makes it much harder to get stuck!

AS moby suggested a selectable front locker is adviseable. They are way more expensive but make your Jeep more versitile too.

Do you hear banjos?
I have an auto in the rear and open front. It can get away from me, if I'm not careful in the snow. From what I've observed during the ownership of an auto locker is that I'll wait until I can afford a selectable locker for the front. An auto in the front would be scary in the snow, and we tend to get some of that in my parts!!
