ok well i almost have enough money to buy a locker for my zj. i have a coupon for 4wheeldrive hardware so i was going to buy it from there. when i selected "grandcherokee" the only locker for the d30 was a truetrac and i wanted a the soflock because it locks up 100% of the time. can i use a soflock in my d30 even though it is only catagorized under wranglers as long as i have the same spline and gear ratio? its off road only so i want something with 100% percent traction all the time without welding my spider gears.

 

A dana 30 is a dana 30, regardless of what it's in.
This applies to carriers, full case lockers, and lunchbox lockers....BUT NOT GEARS!
