I'm wanting to get a little more off-road azzz out of my daily driver...
scouring the Q-tech cat brought me on this Lock-Right thingy....and the description kinda reads like it's a limited slip lunchbox unit....is this true?
I'm pretty much sold on the idea of an aussie back in the 8.25...but front grunt is very worthwhile, offroad, but i'd really prefer not to lock it it at all possible.....so what's the scoop on this lock-right product???

It's tried and true. The same guy designed boththe Aussie and Lock Right. Only difference are one uses 4 progressive rate springs and the other uses 8. Lock right uses 8. I love mine. Rarely hear it on road and it's awesome off.

Buy it from Wayne at alljeep.com. Hell sell it to you for $220 if I remember correctly. That's the cheapest you can find em new.

Oh and it's an auto locker. Not a LS. LR doesn't slip when used in the front in 4wd.

I ran lock-rights front and rear on my old YJ and loved them never had a issues.

I'm even looking for a Lock-Right in the near future for the front of my XJ

If you want a rear locker for off road use only, no function on road. You want a selectable locker, air, cable or electricaly actuated. You might consider a auto-locker for the front though as it will not be functioning when you are in 2hi.
