I'm curious as to what you guys think on putting a locker in the front. I have been given mixed answers on the subject. I mainly wheel in southern Indiana, so its mainly steep hills and windy trails with the occasional mud pit here and there. My main concern would be the front end sliding around on me too much on the hills. But I think it would really help in any offset conditions. Does anyone have experience with this? Oh yeah, I wheel a 91 XJ, 4" lift, and 33" SS.

I guess I should have explained a little better. My XJ is a trail only rig, never sees the road or 2wd for that matter. I am only concerned when it is in 4wd. If I have a locker up front, and when I'm on a slippery hill side, and the trail does not go straight up the hill, it goes up it on an angle, will the front end will slide out on me.
