Default Limiting Up Travel

The amount of flex I'm getting with 4.5"RE lift plus 3/4" blocks is allowing the 32's to come up so far as to hit the Bushwacker Flairs.

Would like to go to taller tires but need to limit the up travel. Is the best thing to do is fab up some huge bump stops inside the spring? I know someone has a better answer.

Yes, something like these that screw to the spring perch inside the coils.

Some have used Hockey pucks stacked to the appropriate height.

Another option. I went down to our local metal supply house and they had scrap solid round billet pieces of aluminum in 2" and 3" diameters and ranging from 1" to 4" in lengh for a couple bucks each. These would make a great bump stop, cheap, tough, ,light weight, and non-corrosive. You'd have to drill a center hole though. Basically the same thing as the RE ones for a fraction of the price.

Hockey pucks FTW.
I drilled the spring bucket from the bottom and drilled holes in the center of the pucks. Slide the pucks into place and put a long bolt in rom the top down, add a lock nut and you're done. No need to remove the coils.

FYI,
Hockey pucks are about $1 each at my local sporting goods store.

I stacked hockey pucks and glued em/bolted em down:

For the rear I used a combination of dpg's bumpstop plate and bumpstops from summit racing:

Thanks guys, looking like the pucks are the way to go.

This picture was taken a while ago, but thought I would just give a visual.
