Default Limited Slip Differentials??

Hey guys, I'm planning on changing my differential fluid in both rear(Chrysler 8.25) and front (dana 30). I know that if I have a Limited Slip Differential I need a different kind of oil for the gears. So my question is how can I tell if I have a Limited Slip Differential?? And can you recommend what oil to use?

Thanks

I think mobil 1 and royal purple already have the additive in them. I know royal purple does for sure.

But is it harmful to use the additive if I DON'T have a Limited Slip Differential?

if you have just 4 gears about 2 inches across in the carrier then its just an open diff and not Limited slip,

W/the rear wheels in the air, hold one wheel while a buddy tries to spin the other. If they both try to spin together, you have limted slip.

Well I spun the drivers side wheel clockwise and the other wheel (which was being held) wanted to spin counter-clockwise. So does this confirm that I DON'T have Limited Slip Differential?
