Lights turning off
Hey guys, quick question for ya. I went wheeling last night for 2 or 3 hours and at the end of my adventure my lights went off and came back on. I didnt think of it as a problem until they kept going on and off every 2 seconds . Has anyone else had this problem and if so what should i check out? Im thinking a loose ground but im not to sure. Anything will help because i want to go out again tonight lol. Thanks!

To check, just go through all connections and wires, fuses bulbs.. etc.. The lights are not to hard to find problems with.. power ground fuse/relay connectors.. Good luck

do you have a tow hitch and if you do check the wires for the light connector for the trailer it might have been knocked loose and causerie a faulty ground

I would start at the sockets that connect to the headlights, they could have worked loose from all the vibration of off roading. Check the inside of the sockets to see if they are burned, if the sockets became loose the spade terminals may have arced some and you are not getting a good contact anymore. May have to replace the sockets if the terminals are burned. Then move on to the wiring and check to see if any of the insulation has been rubbed off on them. May have a broken wire that loses contact when going over bumps. Good luck
