broken exhaust bolt?

 

I have the exact same problem. When i start mine up it ticks and once it warms up it goes away. I always thought that it was a lifter too. It has been doin it for the last 30k and ive just been ignoring it. But it does bother me. I will have to check my exhaust when i get a chance. Im glad someone else has this same thing and already asked this question.

 

Thanks for the ideas guys. Mine is the same as 96liftedXJ, motor is smooth & it's doing the same thing. Good excuse to get a header!
