Default lift suggestions?

Ok so I have a 3in rough country lift in my 97 Cherokee. I wanna go up more if I can with out having to change anything major. What's the most I can do before I have to change major things? And what actual things could I do? I heard I can get to 4.5 but I figure you dudes would know better hah. I appreciate the help.

Generally when you start going higher than 3" you have to start changing front end parts, address transfer case drop/SYE issues.

I'd say new lower control arms atleast, you can get away with stock uppers. Probably need a track bar drop bracket as well as an adjustable track bar, longer brake lines front and rear, probably longer shocks. You'll want a transfer case drop too.

It all depends on the jeep all are different. I have heard 4,4.5,and 5 without having to put in a sye/cv. But then i know one person that got bad driveline vibes at 3 in. If I were you I would wait and save up for the sye/cv and figure out how high you want to go. then lift it...But if you dont want to spend the green on the sye just keep it at 3. Thats what i have on mine and it goes everywhere my buddies does with a 9inch lift

Well I'm doing it more for the look, lifting my truck any higher isn't goin to do anything for me really than look better. Cause I do like, add a leaf, and coil spaces and then a small body lift?

Whats wrong Royal? Not a big fan of the body lift? If I could justify it i'd have one for sure.

people who think they can put a body lift on a uni body are the same people who "decorate" the engine compartment with colored wire loom.

Aight well I guess were done being helpful.. I don't have money to buy all the **** I need for a bigger lift. So forget the body lift. Can I do anything like on a small budget to get more lift?

Mean but funny. I run 2" spacers and 2" shackles on top off a RE 3.5" but I also have a SYE. You could try a 1.5" spacer and 1" shackles and see what happens, You could always take them back out with little effort.
