no need for headers yet stock mainifolds fit, a little tight but im sure anything I put in there will be. Is that three core rad something I might find at a jy or is it something from a specialty shop? Will it mount in the stock location?

lift springs are usually stiffer than factory springs and will retain their height better.

just some food for thought

my thought is the stock f-150 springs give 2 inches of lift because they compress less due to the weight difference. I got the 360 in mine so im thinking that 2 inches will turn out to be1,sSo if I add four to that I should get the five im looking for and I doubt I will be dissapointed with accidentley having to much lift ( oh wait I dont think its possible to get to much lift ). Anyway after I get the front up Im just going to combine some s-10 leafs and shackle to get it all level.

no XJ came with a V8, the Grands did but a completely different rad. you can find three core rads fairly cheap online or I'm sure your local auto parts could find one for you. Maybe spring for an aluminum rad, I know thats out of your budget. Mine too.

There is a guy on here 4.3L XJ could see what he used.

High steer moves the drag link up 3-5" and allows you to have better steering because your drag link is not at a severe angle. You will need to move the trac bar also when you do this. 7" is too much for the tie rod ends of your steering system.
