Lift Question Add on?? HELP
I have a 3 inch suspension lift now with springs in front and full packs in rear. Question is can i add a BB to this to make it a 5 inch lift by using 2 inch lift shackles in rear and 2 inch spring spacers in front?? will this be a good or bad thing? Will this work? Any other suggestions? I want more lift and i will be trimming fenders and putting on 33x12.5's after its done.
Thanks for your help guys!

yeah you can add spacers up front and shackles out back for an extra two inches..
it will work but you run into a lot more problems with 4+ inches of lift...
you will have to drop a lot of money into it when u raise it that high...
sye, longer driveshaft, gears since your going to run 33's...etc...

Have to .... No should you .... yes running 33's with 3.54 or 3.73 gears puts you below the acceptable power band but I know many people who have and still do it . They wheel that way and have no major issues. I will add that the Dana 35 is not really good for anything above 33's but unlocked you should be fine. I have run 35's on mine unlocked and been fine ( no breakage)

Those blocks will shorten your lower control arms, ( well not shorten them physically, your axle will move closer to your transmission) and change your caster angle. Your ride will go to crap, and your High way manners will suffer as well. Spend the money and get some longer lower control arms with your blocks.
Hell I got an old pair from a Pro Comp (Pro Trash) lift, I would give to ya if you want them, I was going to use them just for welding practice, but if you want them, where are ya shipping should be cheap. PM me if you want them, My wife wants to learn how to weld, so be quick, or they are toast.

You could get by with control arm drops and not lose so much caster. PM muddeprived he just recently put a set on his and he likes them.
