lift question

i just picked up a 95 xj it has a 2" skyjacker lift kit ,i wanted to go with a 3" lift ..my question is can i add an inch to the lift i already have ? or should i just get a whole new kit....heres the kit the truck came with......http://www.quadratec.com/products/76117_801.htm

and also when i hit bumps in the road it hits pretty hard

that kit is just spacers and shackles. your definetaly better off going with a whole new lift..

u must be a pats fan.and yes....the .best corner in the league...........back to my lift.. i have searched and theres so many different types a little confused on what i need ...this is my first xj ,what do i need and at a fairly low cost,thanks

haha i am a pats fan... we'll save that discussion for another day..


onto your lift. the lift thats on there is the basic budget boost for any cherokee, two inch spacers up front, two inch shackles out back. in order to go bigger your gonna need new front coil springs and new rear leaf springs. check out rough country they have good cheap stuff

thanks .. im going to check them out.how about the shocks are they ok to keep on there or do i need a different shock

I would look here. Special countdown to Christmas sale. Three inch lift on the cheap. I have a few Rough Country parts on my Jeep and have no complaints at all.
