lift question
oh the blocks to block it up on...duh.
wow am i dumb.
carrry on.
When looking at the drivers side front wheel from the side, you should be able to see the lower control arm running down from the frame rail to right below the shock mounting plate. put the jackstand / block on the frame behind the frame end of the LCA

I jacked mine up from the bottom of the front differential, the bigass roundish thing thats somewhat in the center of the axle that the driveshaft goes into. you might have to put blocks under the jack depending haw long the throw of your jack is.

well my dad has a like 3 ton jack thing he mite let me use... but if he dont then wat i got to hold it up if cinder blocks and my jack that comes with the jeep and you got a pic where to put the jack at bc is it that big arm thing going down from the fram to the axle. And im only 17 and this is my first jeep so im nervous if you cant already tell...
yeah they're fine like 99% of the time. But if they are old or weathered they can crack. Your choice. I was being over-drammatic when I said they have a tendency to crack and kill you. Its more of a small chance. Wood works great, I used a combo of jack stands and some rounds from a tree that was no longer standing in my front yard.
ok. so the jack will work great to move things around, and its good you've got 2. put one under the differential to support the axle. a friend is always helpful, but i can understand wanting to do it yourself. I can't find a good picture of stock lower control arms, but if you are looking at the spot that the big *** grey thing is in this picture (its an aftermarket part of a lift kit, you wont have one) then you are looking in the right spot. yes the big arm thing going from the frame to below the axle mount of the shock.
