So I'm putting a 3" rough country lift in my 98 xj finally and I want to know if I need a tc drop or an sye? I hear some say yes and some say no. Which is it? Any help here would be great since ill be under there if I need any of the two I would rather do it right the first time. Thanks in advance

I have a 3" on mine and I've been running it with out a tc drop no problems I do have a tc drop just waiting to put it on. No real bad vibes from the rear!

I have a 3" lift with a TC drop on my 2000 XJ and I have some highway vibes.... Like others said. Every jeep is different. Put the lift on and see what it needs. 1999+ XJ's tend to be more sensitive to lifts tho... You should be fine, but throw her on and let us know how it goes.

It's weird, because I did a 3" lift with AALs and new coils in my 95XJ sport and I had to install a drop even though everyone said I wouldn't have to.
