I lifted my 1999 XJ with a 3" kit from Rustys. The car looks great BUT there is a new NOISE in the driveline. Its getting real bad in speeds over 60 mph in 2WD and in all speed in the 4WD mode
Can it just be the joints inthe driveshafts that are worn and became noise when the angels changed?
Is that anything more I should have change when I lift the car?
I have lifted another 1993 XJ 2,5" without any problems.

Sorry guys!!! I´ll never use that term again......
The noise is encreasing in speed and and the car feels like the drivline are unbalanced. Its a horror on hwy.
Maybe I start to change all joints to start with. The strange thing is that it didnt happend on my -93 with a 2,5" lift.

yeah, sounds like your pinion angle is a bit much. you can put some shims in it to level it back out. ive got about 5 inches on mine. same kit u have plus two inch shackles and spacers. mine roars a bit two sometimes but doesnt effect the way it drives. i havent shimmed it yet but probably will to avoid any future wear and tear.

The front driveshaftjoints was in a mess
In the front doublejoint was also some kind of bearing that have a broken seal - and I was told that the only thing was to buy a NEW complete driveshaft for 1000 bucks!
Can that be thrue??????
Are there some aftermarket stuff around?

They can be re-built. Even the double-Cardan joint. And for way less than $1000. At least I hope the parts are readily available where you are.
If you take the front driveshaft out, drive it a bit and see if, or how much of, the noise has gone away. You might be able to fix the noise in the rear by pointing the pinion (input to the read diff) further down (or maybe up). What components were used for the rear in your lift?
If the vibrations and noises don't go away, read in the HOWTOs here and elsewhere about t-case drops and SYEs and make a decision for yourself. A good choice might be to do the "hack'n'tap" SYE, but not if front driveshafts are $1000!
Also, I call mine "car", "truck", and "jeep", but neither feels 100% right.

what if its squeaking, i just got my 3 inch zone kit and its been 4 or 5 days and the noise sounds like squeaky and sometimes it sounds like how tires sound when they rub the fenders, sorry im new and this may be off topic but i thought it was relevant

I took my old driveshaft (from my truck) to a machine shop, and in an hour, they built me one even stouter than the one that i had... 120$ included the pipe. 2 years ago.
