x2 - this lady that works with me has a TJ that has a little lift with 31's on it and she's bought a few things to make it nice - has 4wd and the whole bit, but she never takes it anywhere.... I pulled into work one day after getting my XJ and told her I got a jeep. When she asked me what I got, I told her and she was like, that's not a real jeep, it's a mommy wagon... to which I replied, at least my jeep has seen other areas besides pavement - and it's only 2wd!

Wrangles ARE better then Cherokee's. Cherokee's ARE better then Wrangles. they are VERY different, even though they are a lot a like. wheel base, number of doors, solid roof, interior, price, cargo space, frame vs unibody......

IT's ALL opinion. no need to argue. opinions are based OFF one persons thoughts however incomplete they may be....

these battles/conversations aren't worth talking about. my XJ plows threw things my buddies TJ struggles hard on, and my XJ struggles where my buddy's TJ fly's threw. they are both capable in different ways for different areas...

just laugh and shake it off.

it's nice to hear a lot of common opinions here. I think the coolest thing about anyone who owns a vehicle that they like to take off road is that they're "therap-ized"... they go out on the weekends and do what they love doing... beautiful scenery, fresh air, dirt, friends.... all the great stuff. They don't have the need to sweat the small stuff, 'cause as long as they're having fun with friends, that's all that matters.... I had a camaro about 8 years ago and joined a forum for camaro's... I posted in one of the threads and suddenly this dude started busting on my car and he had never seen it or knew anything about it... just started tearing into it 'cause I was new... never posted in there again... don't have the time for someone who all they care about is worrying about how much better their ride is than everyone elses.... someone's always gonna have a better ride! so why not just shut up and enjoy yours
