Default Lift Kit Noises??

I just put the Rustys 4.5 inch lift on my xj, i got the full leaf packs and they are really noisy, the make some popping noises and some squeaks when i hit bumps, and its coming from the leaves themselves like as if they were hitting each other, any ideas on how to quiet them down a little

also i hear a popping noise from the front when im driving also, i cant tell where its coming from, all i know is its something from the front, ive checked all the bolts and everything is torqued down nicely still, any ideas?

Im having a similar problem, my full leaf packs make noise when i brake hard. And my new coil springs are awfully noisy. Is it normal for new coils to be loud when they flex and bounce? Do they need breaking in?

something is wrong if you coils are making noise. they shouldnt be moving much. never heard coils make noise though. if its a popping noise check your trackbar and tre.

The coil spring may not be seated correctly. It may or may not be a safety issue but it will make hella noise and possibly bust the spring retention bolt if left alone.

The leaves may not be making the noise but the bushings are. I had the same issue. It was driving me screwy.... ended up soaking the darn thing in WD-40 then wiping it off and using canned grease (the stuff for bike chains) didn't have another issue.
