Default Lift block ?

I ordered a RC 3'' lift the other day that includes coils, long AAL, and 2.2 series shocks and steering stabilzer. The question was after ordering the kit I noticed it say's 2-3'' lift in the rear. If the rear sits alittle lower after the install would it hurt to install a 1'' steel block. The jeep will be very lightly wheeled and very light towing from time to time. I've used them to lower many times but never to lift. Thanks for any input.

It is not a good idea to use a lift block with OEM XJ spring as they are weak and tend to be damaged by blocks. That beind said go for it, I have beed running a 1" thick deg shim for years with no issues and lots of wheeling.

You might try an add a leaf...think they come with some of the smaller lift kits and are better than blocks. If U use blocks stay away from cast blocks and go for welded steel ones. Taller blocks do cause increased axle wrap.

I've got 1" or 2" blocks under Tomken springs in the rear and have never had a problem.

Thanks for the reply's. The kit I bought has the long aal, but the " will lift rear 2 to 3 inches has me worried. Like I said it would be no more than a 1'' block if I even need one,and it will be steel. I just wanted some input before I did it. They won't be one there any more than a year( got to save up to replace theh whole leaf pack) Another question I have is has anyone had trouble with death wooble and is there usually any problem with drive shaft angle with no more than a 3'' lift

I have the 3" AAL RC kit and have 1.5" blocks in the rear with no problems but my springs aren't near sagging yet.
