Default Lift ?

Ok to start i have the Pro Comp 3" kit with 1 3/4" coil spacers and extended shackles. So i is around 4.5" give or take i want to go bigger but do not want to buy a new kit can i gust get longer coils and new leaf springs or woul i have to get new control arms, SYE kit, trac bar, steering components and so on ? i still want to use my shackles and coil spacers but i am running Pro Comp 31x10.50 and i want 33's i know ill have to co new gears and so on But i need some ideas

If your at 4.5" I'd say just trim and bump stop than you can run 33's. But that is just my idea..

I am trimmed so just a bump stop you think so i dont need new lift components to get my XJ higher

Any other ideas other than bump stops because if i get them it will be good for the front but then will i need more lift in the springs

When I went from 3" to 4.5" I got new CA's, shocks, had to extend brakelines, got a SYE(not installed yet) but every jeep is different. The CA's are a must to get you front tire back in the right place and an adj. tracbar to center everything up front.

yeah as you get to 4 inches or more you need adjustable control arms and track bar. you only need about 5 inches in the front and 4 to 4.5 in the rear. and some good fender trimming you might need a sye as some jeep are different than others

Ok can i use my loweer CA from the 3" kit get longer coil springs and taller leaf springs and ajus trac bar I want to be around 5-5.5" with out gettin the RE short arm kit be able to run 33's maybe 35's with new gears and all?

So my idea is a 4.5" lift 4.5" RE coils and new Leaf springs making it 5-5.5" with coil spacers and extended shackles any ideas/ help would be great

You can use them but it will pull the front axle closer to the rear of the fender and can cause "Death Wobble" issues... You need to at the very least get some adjustable lower control arms...

so not jut replace the upper CA with ajus ones i need New ajus LCA, Trac Bar, New Leaf springs 4.5" and 4.5" coils to get 5-5.5" of lift using 1 3/4" coil spacers and extended Rear shackles?

i guess the route i will have to go when i find some $$$ but do you think it would be cheaper to get the RE 4.5" kit vs buying all the parts seprate?
