Hello all. I have a bone stock 1994 2Dr Jeep Cherokee 6 Cylinder with about 120,000 miles on it.

About a couple of weeks ago a loud, "roaring" noise started to come from the rear. Not so much when accelerating, but whenever I just coast it makes the noise, and then braking makes the noise even louder. My dad says he thinks it's just the brakes, but I figured I'd go here for a second opinion before we dive into the brakes.

Also, after putting some used tires on it from a friend (same stock Jeep rims) I started to get some death wobble when driving at 50-60 mph. After about 60 mph and up the ride is just kind of bumpy and uncomfortable. I don't think the tires are bigger, and in fact the tread is not as wide as the previous tires. Any suggestions as to why this is happening too?

as for the noise check the brakes and the tires probably not balanced correctly or at all

you also might have worn out bushings up front on your steering components... that might be why you are getting the death wobble
