Probably the best advice I ever got was from a cop after I had the system jacked outta my old Jeep. "Thieves don't go car to car looking for stereo systems, they pick you out as you come thumping into the neighborhood. Keep it turned down when your near where you park".

1" tweeters in dash, 5.25's three way in front doors, 6x9's three way in the rear hatch, 10" sub in rear pass. side pocket. All Rockford-Fosgates. A 1400 watt 5 channel Pyle amp, under rear seat. A Pioneer DEH 90HHD. (the best head unit they ever made, New $1800. It's more of a sound processor.) All installed to look like factory. No speaker boxes, or amp visible out. In fact I was thinking about painting the speaker grills Grey, to match interior. (to stand out less) Right now there black. I didn't want to give up all my cargo space, just to have good sound.

Im right there with you. I have the stock stereo and speakers in my cars. The jeeps door speakers have been under water several times and still work to my standards. plus my jeep vibrates enough without bass.
