Ok so my 2000 xj has a noise in the front end wen rolling slowly it "clicks" and if I lightly apply brakes(not enough to slow it) the noise goes away. Put new pads on and checked that so I know that not the prob. It is on driver (left) side only. Now it startin to make "grinding" sound wen makin HARD left turn as well. U-joints?? Like advice b4 tearing into it Pink Lady

 

possible hub bearing, jack up the side and see if theirs play in the wheel
