Default LED turn signals

I wanted the clear turn signal lens so I ordered them and leds for the sides and front markers. The 4 ways flash but turn signals do not flash, they get bright but dont flash.
Ive read some about dummy loads but dont know how many I need or where they go.

i had a problem with led turn signals too, once they were in my turn signals would blink really fast. i assumed it was because led uses less power but idk

yea thats why they do weird stuff. my 4 ways work normal but turn signals are solid bright.
I hope its a easy fix. making my turn signal flash by moving the signal switch up and down is gonna get old real quick.

this happened with my motorcycle you will have to get a flasher relay that is comatible with led for my bike they make it not sure about cars ifound this one for bikes but that is most likely your problem
ELFR-1 DOT Flasher Relay

The ELFR-1 is a plug and play replacement flasher relay that operates at the standard DOT (stock) blink rate for motorcycles with stock blinkers, or all LED blinkers or any combination of both.

With LEDs your flasher thinks it has a bulb out because of the light load and it indicates that by flashing fast.
You can install a resistor kit like this one and they will blink the normal rate.

They also sell flashers if you can find one that has no bulb out indicator, but they are hard as heck to find.

Says resistors work with 1157 bulbs but what about the 194?
Is there a cheaper alternative then $5 each resistors? radio shack specal ?
I thought maybe I read somewhere my current flasher can be altered?
and would I need resistors for each bulb (4) or each side?

'towing' flasher units - they're not load sensitive, so it doesnt matter how few/many bulbs or how much load on the circuit. ( usually badged as Heavy Duty flasher unit) just plugs into the panel where the normal flasher module sits.

The Tridon is a 2 prong flasher, but the factory flasher is 5 prong... Will that make a difference? I have a 1996, maybe they changed it since 91. If that's the case, what do people use for the 96?

I just tried a Napa HD flasher relay, and it only helped a small amount. Still flashed really fast with the lights off, and almost flashed with the lights on. Before, it flashed very fast with lights off and not at all with the lights on.
