I pulled the old dome light on my 2000 XJ out and I'm wanting to get a new, possibly smaller fixture to take its place with LED's. Having trouble finding a fixture; keep getting bulbs and eBay links in Google. Any ideas?

 

I redid all my interior lights. I just hard wired in little led panels. Easier than trying to match bulbs and they're brighter than any bulbs I've tried.

 

Did you house them in anything? Got any pics? Thnx

I have a set and it is literally night and day difference from stock light output. I did the hit a miss for quality bulbs with my rv van, this guy has already done it for us cherokee owners.

 

I just attached them to the lenses of the stock housings. I'll get a picture later today when I drive it.

 

I'm looking for a whole new smaller footprint housing. The old stock housing is messed up.

 

Wouldn't you have to redo the headliner to cover the hole behind it? I would just go to the junkyard and get one. Too much work and time and they aren't that big at least in my opinion.

 

Headliner was nasty so I pulled it out. Gonna line the top with Rhino or something

 

The panel I used has 3m adhesive on the back so if I were you I would just wire it in then stick it to the ceiling.
