I want to connect some LED stripps i bought a while back and never used them, to the inside of my xj, they are blue, all i want to know is how to connect them so they only turn on when i turn on my Dash lights, or my head lights? Pictures would help alot.

 

get a wiring diag of the interior lighting from a manual

 

im not 100% on this but u might be able to splice the wires to a existing wire from the headlamp,im not sure how u would do that but its a thought u can look into to,if it works then when u open ur door and ur headlamp comes on then those leds will as well,u dont wanna be ridin around wit blue leds shinin through ur windows at night and a pissed of cop drives by and gives u a ticket for have blue lights

 

Hook them up to a separate switch so you can turn them on while just chilling. Driving with red or blue lights in the vehicle is always a bad idea because it tends to irk cops.

 

hahah they cant do that, i mean they arent that bright. lol

 

lol but i like mrfajita's idea about runnin a seperate switch,so this way u can show them off wit out ur headlights on and killin ur battery

well blue for me, since my xj is going to be murderd out.
plus i allready had them blue. lol
