Hey...just got a pair of leather seats out of a low mileage (46,000 to be exact) 2003 WJ. The seats are very very nice but are a bit hard in some places and would hate to have them crack. What should I do?? Leatherique?? I have lexol and zymol conditioner so give that a try??

Do you have a boot store nearby? Could probably find some quality leather conditioner there that would work great. Or any shop that deals in leather jackets, western wear/saddle shops also.

I've been using the Lexol cleaner and the conditioner for years on all our cars with excellent results. Just swapped in leather heated seats from an '01 LimitedXJ into my '99 SE and it helped alot. There is not a vinyl coating on the seats...kinda would defeat the leather.

The leatherique may be great stuff, I've just never used it. Just going by my Lexol experience. Jump over to some interior detailing forum and I bet you can find plenty of debate and opinions from folks who have tried 'em all.
