Default Leaking oil like a mother...@#$%!!

91 cherokee 4.0 auto 4x4

It only leaks when it is running, and then seems to drip on the exhaust...when i take a corner, a lot leaks cause I get a smoke screen behind me anyway...is it as simple as the valve cover gasket? Would a valve cover cause this much oil to go? Is there anything/anywhere else it could be leaking from??

check the oil pressure sensor switch. If its your valve cover you have an easy fix.

yep sounds like the valve cover, if you cant see the leak try to tighten up all the cover bolts to see if there lose .

Judging by the fact that it gets worse when you turn and the gauge works, I doubt its the Oil pressure sender. Its on the passengers side, opposite of the exhaust so it would be pretty hard for it to cause the smoke.
