Hello everyone
Last weekend I found out my fuel tank busted by a heavy fuel smell around the car. It was pouring out! After some investigation I found a rust hole in the tank where the carrying strap mounts onto the J-bolt. I guess the tank must have hit something so that the rusted spot finally broke. My engine runs on LPG, so I only need fuel for starting. This means I can still drive around, while waiting on the new tank.
But after driving a while, let's say 20 minutes, the car starts idling very rough and I'm wondering if it's because of the hole in the tank (evap system causing vacuum issues)?
Can someone confirm this?
Thanks!
