leakin clutch fluid

Default leakin clutch fluid

okay my 88 cherokee 5 speed keeps leakin clutch fluid out of the bell housing. Everything is new clutch wise. and we have just replaced the bearing. We just tried bleedin the clutch and the second pump on the clutch it started leakin. Why or how is it leakin??

you sure it's the clutch? Not really common for a clutch to leak. Usually a leak in that area is a ream main seal issue

well something is makin the fluid come out. and the slave cylinder is brand new

I had the same problem about a month ago. It was the slave cylinder. I had to remove the tranny and everything else that was in the way to replace it. The part is around $45 at autozone. it's time consuming but cheaper than paying $600 fir a shop to do it.

So now has any ideas? Do we just keep getting bad clutch slaves or what??
