Leak around liftgate wiring grommet

Leak around liftgate wiring grommet
My 99 XJ is leaking water into the cargo area. The water seems to be running down inside the rear pillars. I plan to check roof rack well nuts and also the liftgate to body wiring grommet. Is this grommet not available for purchase? I can't find it. Or will I just have to silicon around it? Or is there a better way to fix it? Thanks for advice!

I just repaired a leak on my tailgate this weekend.
Mine was leaking but in a strange / unlikely way.
The tailgate hinge was actually displacing the seal causing water to run down the hinge, past the seal and into my interior.
I found this by removing the upper trim, slowly closing the tailgate and watching it.
I could see when closing it the hinge would start to go past the seal but instead of passing it would catch it and push it in.
Might be worth looking at.

Ok, once my paint/body guy got to trying to track the cargo area leak down, it was leaking in most every possible location except the glass seals.
He put 3M seam sealer on all the metal seams and around the rubber grommets and plugs etc in the hatch area. He also used the sealer around all the nutserts of the roof rack.
Leak problem seems solved, knock on wood!!!
Luckily recognized and fixed problem before rust set in. Problem is made worse by the carpet having a rubber backing which keeps the carpet dry even when there's lots of water buildup underneath.
